Birch Center Relief Security Monitor:

The Birch Center is currently looking for a Relief Security Monitor. The essential functions and responsibilities of this position include: Providing active security during supervised visits and exchanges to ensure safety including video monitoring, communication monitoring, walk through, and escorts as appropriate in compliance with safety procedures, maintain confidentiality, provide assistance in scheduling, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: One year prior experience in the security field and a high school diploma/GED. Excellent interpersonal, group and written communication skills. Prior demonstrated ability of working with people of diverse backgrounds, culture and lifestyles. Ability to maintain boundaries. Proficient with computers and an ability to do data entry. Ability to pass background check.

Birch Center Relief Visitation Monitor

The Birch Center is currently looking for a Relief Visitation Monitor. The essential functions and responsibilities of this part time position include: facilitating a safe, positive, and comfortable atmosphere for children to visit with the non-custodial parent while providing active monitoring of visits and to ensure the safety of the victim and their children. The candidate will also provide monitoring services for supervised exchanges and will engage in and role model direct conflict resolution and mediation while presenting a professional demeanor to the community through appearance, community and presentation.

Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree in Child Development, Human Services, or closely related field. Job, school or life experience may be used in lieu of the degree. Excellent interpersonal, group and written communication skills. Prior demonstrated ability of working with people of diverse background, culture and lifestyles. Ability to maintain boundaries. Proficient with computers and an ability to do data entry. Ability to pass background check.

Careline Relief Crisis Intervention Specialists

Careline is currently looking for a Relief Crisis Intervention Specialists. This position requires the individual to interact with clients and staff members in a manner that is respectful and empowering, have consistent and dependable attendance, and present a professional demeanor to the community through appearance, communication, and presentation.

The Relief Crisis Intervention Specialist will implement policies, protocols and services designed to assist individuals who are thinking of or planning to commit suicide, are impacted by someone with suicidal behavior, or who are experiencing crisis that without assistance, may turn into suicidal behavior. Services are provided via phone call or text messaging. This position will respond to each crisis call by providing appropriate crisis intervention services, implement call triage to manage multiple calls, screen all calls for lethality; respond to suicide calls by providing appropriate intervention, maintain client confidentiality except in cases where client needs must be communicated to appropriate staff and emergency personnel, provide support, information and referral for non-crisis calls, maintain accurate records of lethality assessments and client information, and other duties as assigned by the Careline Coordinator.


The minimum qualifications for this position includes, Associates Degree in Social Work or a closely related field. Prior work or life experience may be used in lieu of the degree.  Excellent interpersonal, group, and written communication skills. Commitment to agency's mission and goals. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and lifestyles. Ability to work independently. Ability to pass background check.

Weekend Relief Advocates:

In this position you will have the opportunity to provide crisis intervention, systems advocacy and support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault while handling sensitive issues in a mature and confidential manner with integrity and compassion.

Minimum Qualifications: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills and the ability to be flexible in a fast paced teamwork environment. The ideal candidate will have experience handling sensitive issues in a mature and confidential manner with integrity and compassion. Associates degree in Human Services or closely related field is preferred. However, sufficient job, school or life experience may be used in lieu of the Associates degree. We are looking for someone that has the ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and lifestyles and a commitment to agency mission and goals. Must have the ability to pass a background check.
